OCTOBER means new
beginnings in a sense, especially for me.
New songs are coming,
we have a new TV show airing in October, with a preview of things to come
and the next show is going to be ALL NEW SONGS and I'm very exited
about it!

We just
played a show in Pasadena last night that was a real blast. For the first
time, I played through my Ampeg for an all electric show and Basil sounded
great! The Ampeg has the coolest distortion when it is cranked up
that no pedal can give.
So, I'm
kind of perplexed lately about the insane actions of our country.
Are things WAY OUT of hand or WHAT!!!!!! And, who to vote for? I
am feeling kind of embarrassed to be among the red, white, and blue.
War is still going on and WE just don't seem to get the information.
People are dying, and OUR COUNTRY seems to be the world terrorist!!!
REALLY, it is crazy.
I feel so sad...
Have you
seen Moore's "Farenheit 911"movie? What did you think about it?
If you get a chance, have a peek at the movie "911 In Plane Sight".

was she? only a few people got a candid glimpse... I'll just say that she
had it all, and it was an extra special 3SUM!

a way to start my Spring Break! ]]
And, you just may catch us in the act recording in Long Beach...not
for "3sum -The Show", but for our next album, photos coming soon of us
on location in our alternative remote studios! WHAT?

It's 2004,
and what's going on with us? Kind of a seasonal hibernation...
A new recording project is in the
early stages. S&M is still intrigued by experiencing Sedona Arizona
just a few days ago, and I am mulling over feelings of that journey for
some song ideas. Mark is finishing up "The Fellowship of the Ring."
Damien is stoked about "The Di Vinci Code." And me...I'm finishing
up my ethnomusicological pursuits in Los Angeles. We will keep you
posted about upcoming shows. Check out our "In The Act" page for
updates.

Hey
people, a quick word, 9-21-03
Thanks to all the people that supported us for our tour. Not only
was it a great time but I also learned a lot and met some cool people along
the way. I will be putting together video footage from the tour and
will inform you of it’s airing (via this website) on Long Beach Charter
TV “3sum-The Show” and on a TV special documentary, “3sum
ON TOUR”.
We are writing new songs and are in pre–production for the next CD.
Does
everybody know that 3sum is available for parties?

This song
was inspired by one of the greatest underground songwriters in Long Beach,
Bob Holtzinger. We share uncanny, shady experiences with the opposite
sex, and have previously been addicted to addicts, and other chaos. It
is a tale of being on the verge of moving on and moving out, yet still
having insatiable appetite for the drama. And, musically the song
is a great example of 3sum's collaboration and the interplay between us
3. It is always a great song to begin our shows...to have collective
energy from the start!. -Sharon
